Aliphatic solvents are in the category of aliphatic compounds. Aliphatic solvents do not contain a benzene ring. They are mixtures of saturated, long straight chain (normal-paraffin), branched chain (iso-paraffin) or cyclic paraffins.

  • Butyl Glycol Acetate

Butyl Glycol Acetate (also known as 2-butoxyethyl acetate; ethylene glycol butyl ether acetate; and 2-butoxyethanol acetate) has the chemical formula C8H16O3, and is a clear, colourless to pale yellow liquid.
  • Butyl di-glycol Acetate

Butyl di glycol acetate (also known as BDGA, diethylene glycol monobutyl ether acetate, butyl diethoxol acetate, and butyl diglycol) is a clear, colourless liquid which has a faint, mild odour and the formula C10H20O4. It is slightly soluble in water and is miscible with organic solvents.
  • Dioctyl Terephthalate (DOTP)

Dioctyl terephthalate is an important phthalate-free plasticiser, being the diester ofterephthalic acid and the branched-chain 2-ethylhexanol. It is a colorless viscous with very good plasticizing properties and may be used as a direct replacement for ortho-phthalates in many applications. DOTP is a general purpose plasticizer that is considered safer than ortho-phthalate plasticizers due to its excellent toxicological profile.

Ethyl Acetate is a kind of ester with a characteristic sweet smell (similar to fruits) and is used primarily as a solvent and diluent in nitrocellulose and cellulose acetate lacquers and as an activator or hardener in paint and rubber industry, Ethyle Acetate also has a main use in print and packaging industry as inks for printing machine such as Flexo, Helios and Rotogravure.
  • 2-Ethylhexyl Acetate

2-Ethylhexyl acetate is a solvent used for proteomics research. 2-ethylhexyl acetate is an acetate ester that is hexyl acetate substituted by an ethyl group at position 2. It has a role as a metabolite. It derives from a hexan-1-ol.
  • Heavy Alkylate BENZENE (HAB)

Heavy Alkylate (HAB) is a by-product in LAB production process. HAB is a mixture of di-phenyl alkanes and de-alkyl benzene. Heavy alkyl benzene (HAB) (also named as Heavy Alkylate) is typically used for production of lube oils, thermic fluids, refrigeration oils, electrical oils, textile auxiliaries, specialty oils and plasticizers. Heavy alkyl benzene is synthetic lubricant base oil with superior oxidation stability, thermal stability, low-temperature fluidity and applies to refrigerating machine oil, electrical insulation oil and heat transfer oil (thermic fluids).

Isobutyl Acetate is a solvent with similar properties to Normal Butyl Acetate used for paints and resins, coatings, thinners, leathers, adhesives, fragrances, cosmetics, and as a processing solvent in the pharmaceutical industry. Isobutyl Acetate can be used as a replacement for Normal Butyl Acetate in many formulations such as nitrocellulose lacquers because of it’s lower viscosity, lower evaporation rate and lower cost.

Linear alkylbenzenes (sometimes also known as LABs) are a family of organic compounds. Linear alkylbenzene (LAB) was introduced in the mid-1960s as a raw material for cleaning products. Since then, continuing and explosive research on its biodegradation and on its environmental and human toxicity has been performed.
  • Methanol

Methanol (methyl alcohol, wood alcohol, wood naphtha, methyl hydrate, or wood spirits) is a liquid chemical with the formula CH3OH (often abbreviated MeOH). It is colorless, volatile, flammable, and poisonous.
  • Methoxypropyl Acetate

Methoxy propyl acetate, also known as propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate, is a clear, colourless liquid with a mild ether-like odour. It is only slightly soluble in water but miscible with most common organic solvents. Methoxy propyl acetate is slightly hygroscopic, relatively fast evaporating and has a low viscosity.
  • Methyl Acetate

Methyl acetate, also known as MeOAc, acetic acid methyl ester or methyl ethanoate, is a carboxylate. It is a flammable liquid with a characteristically pleasant smell reminiscent of some glues and nail polish removers. Methyl acetate is a volatile solvent.

Normal butyl acetate (also known as n-butyl acetate) is a chemical compound with a molecular formula of C6H12O2. It is commonly used as a solvent in the production of lacquers, inks and adhesives. This product is a colourless liquid that has a fruity banana odour. This product is highly flammable with a flash point of 24° C and a flammability rating of 3.
